My Dad has passed on…

My 98 year old WWII, Korean vet, very proud dad passed last night. He died quietly and peacefully at home surrounded with love. I spoke of him often here and he will be greatly missed by his family. Losing parents is so hard but I am grateful to have had him for so long...💜 we are all so close.

What a loving way you spoke of your Dad @bmorechick. It is so hard to lose our parents and I'm sure you will miss him. What a peaceful way to be at home surrounded by love, honoring the life he had with you all.

@bmorechick Sorry for you loss. My dad was also a proud vet...Korea and WWII. He has been gone for many years.

My Daddy was also a WW2 vet. I wish he could have died at home. He died in a vets hospital a victim of Alzheimer's.

@bmorechick. I feel badly for you on the loss of your father. I lost mine in 2010 and still think of him every day. Oh, what wonderful memories I have of good times together.

They don't make dads like they used to. I'm sure you're was also wonderful.

I’m so sorry to hear you lost your Dad. Losing a parent is so hard. You were so blessed to have him love you and guide you through the years. I lost my Dad when I was 19 and even though time heals some pain, our hearts will miss them for the rest of our lives.
