Music Venues Where You Stand

There is a mucical artist that came up on pandora that I really like.  I would SO love to hear him, but when he comes, he will be performing at a "stand only" venue that used to be a skating rink when I was a child.

Do you have any standing venues?

I'm sure they're around, likely in Chicago, but we always sit at the concerts we attend.

I book a folk band and there are stand up venues all over the country.  I always avoid them and look for ones that offer primarily seating.  Some offer both depending on the artist so you might want to check with the venue.  I'm guessing that most of the stand up venues are for people 40ish and under.  I know I couldn't make it through a concert if I had to stand for the whole thing.  Showing my age I guess.

Im outside of Boston.  I'm sure there are standing only venues but I don't know them.  The music I like, the performers I would pay to see, would not play to standing room only venues.

Stand up?  No.  I wouldn't think of going.
