@ECBG     I will look them up.😃. Thanks so much for suggesting.  I'm always asking people at the beauty shop, friends to recommend something I should listen to and no one ever seems to have anything.

Oh and to see Jimmy Hendrix I'll bet was AMAZING!

@ECBG    My first concert was AC/DC lol.  Talk about LOUD!  I loved it, but couldn't hear well for a couple days.

No, The Smokey Mountain range of The Appalachians in NC.

I grew up here looking at the Blue Ridge Parkway on pasture away from my bedroom window.

After I retired from teaching mostly Interior Design, (and traveling to large cities for conferences and shopping)  I became our Dillards top stylist (2010) gifted with almost $3,000 of clothes and shoes. Hurt my sciatic nerve and left.

I tried different small boutique stores like Chicos, but their practices don't give hours to their part time, only management.  I didn't like all of the polyester and have very few pieces preferring natural fibers

It's hard when you thrive on color!  I finally found a position in an area with a quality store, that is our most highly trafficed and it's beautiful.

I dress ladies from eight states and do wardrobes.

@ECBG    Oh my goodness, you're still not very far from me.  I'm from a tiny town on the Ky/Tn border called Corbin.

Biltmore House is so beautiful and respected, that's really quite something that your family is associated.  I'll bet your great grandfather was very skilled.  I love that style of art and furnishings too.

You've had such an amazing career path too!  I always wanted to be friends with both an interior designer and a fashion stylist...now I'm lucky enough to have one that can do both!  I still shop at Dillards all the time.  Here, we always considered it an echelon above Macy's.  They always had nicer brands and yes, the styles were certainly better put together.

Im glad you've found a position at a different shop.  Seems like they'd be fortunate to have someone with your experience.  However, it sounds as though it may be out of my price range lol.  It's wonderful that you're also able to pivot your expertise into being a stylist to so many.  Should you ever decide you no longer wanted to work at the shop, you can always do this on a full time basis.

You really should be quite proud to have such a resume.  I'm proud to consider you a friend.😊❤️
