@on the bay   They are javelinas.  Actually there was a family of about 7, but prudently I decided to let them go by, so only captured the last two sauntering.

@Pezzie  I was going to ask you if they were wild boar and weren't they dangerous. Sounds like you gave these javelinas a wide berth, so I'm wondering if they have been known to attack humans. Having trouble pinning down anything definitive online.

Just don't get near their babies (the only cute javelinas if you ask me), cause they'll get aggressive. Cat Surprised

I'd be hesitant to get that close to Javalina.  They're wild animals, have poor eyesight and may charge at movement.  Razor sharp tusks.

As for those critters, I would move if I saw those things!  Yikes!
