Hello all, the sun was shining earlier and now it's clouding up.  Don't have too much planned for the weekend other than the usual yard work and continue purging.  In my house, everything has a place which makes it more sinister, lol.  Perhaps if I had stuff falling off of tables and cluttering the couch it would be easier for me to get rid of stuff.

Have had a couple busy days - what is  new?? Haven't felt well for a couple days and with COPD I try to get well FAST. Went to Urgent Care today and got antibiotics and the Doc also said I may have allergies - GREAT!! I had been wondering about that. Never use to but past couple years felt like I did. He also said I was having a sinus flareup - when he pressed on those bones on my nose I almost came up off the chair. As a youngster I suffered miserably from sinus. Must be honest to say, however, have NOT had many sinus problems since arriving in California - that was in late 1960. With the weather getting so humid out here - never was until about 10 years ago and it gets worse and worse. I left New Orleans to come here because of humidity - no one know humidity until they live in NO. No way to explain how  horrible it is.

My house is now empty EXCEPT Davey - he has not been nice lately and yesterday had a real breakdown - my term - and talked to me something fierce. It was a horrible experience. His Mom protects all 200 pounds plus of him and that is not good. His father I no longer seem to be able to reach. Well I am stubborn and if push comes to shove I hate to say it I may make a change there. I do not want to as he has no REAL support other than from me but  he does NOT see it that way. He has got to learn there are rules of decency and behavior - real simple in my book. Have been saying prayers for him.

Queen Sue, again I hope you are able to stop and read this from time to time. You are sooooooooooooo missed., Dear friend, please take care.

@Winifred

I'm so sorry that Davey has that kind of mouth on him.  I know he has no one that is truly in his corner except for you.  I'll pray God sends him some kind of wisdom to recognize it.  I'm sorry if you are developing allergies. Based on the drought and any dust from that and smoke from fires around you, your lungs and sinuses take a beating.  I really admire you Freddie.

@Winifred  Unfortunately, teenagers don't recognize anything but themselves, but one day he will, actually, probably does now but won't admit it, too difficult to admit his situation to himself.  I think he overeats from depression, and of course this leads to low self esteem, etc., a very difficult situation for you.

Morning All, sun is shining, sheets in the washer so will hang out, maybe Spring will stay around.  Think I'll take some steaks out of the freezer for the grill tonite, do have some yukon gold taters to quarter & roast.

@Winifred, those luncheons sound good, glad you enjoy them.  Sorry to hear about your sinus/allergy issues think I've delveloped some allergies late in life, don't understand it, need a tissue constantly.  Also sorry to hear about Davy, he doesn't realize how good he has it with you, maybe he needs a wake-up call!  You are so good to all of them God Bless You

@birdmama hope your sis is doing well now that they know what to treat.

Well out to hang the sheets, see ya later

Well the peace and quiet left me yesterday. Poor  Ricky, he got a raw little b u tt, poor thing, and was in misery.When he left here Friday late afternoon he was fine - those things happen. And it was a fight to put something on him - we did soak him in nice warm water with baking soda in it twice. He likes that. Hope he wakes up this morning in better shape - that must be so miserable.

Didn't sleep well last night and that was disappointing. Am looking forward to church this morning - always my one truly bright spot of each week. Now to remember to take the goodies I bought for people to munch on. Haven't checked, also hope they haven't already been eaten. LOL. Our church is small and trying to grow and it is a tough road. Each week someone volunteers to bring some goodies for people to munch on before service and the big coffee urn is always going full tilt. Also have iced water and orange juice. I always bring some fruit along with sweets - interesting in that me and the Pastor's wife are the only ones to bring fruit - usually grapes or strawberries yet they are always the first to go. Kids really love the fruit.

Hope one and all have a great day.

Still thinking of Queen Sue - please everyone just keep saying prayers for her - I sure do.

Hello all - not too much going on today.  The sun is shining and it's not too cold so now that I've done the grocery shopping done, I have a couple of windows open and got musical CDs playing.  I was watching a series binge of the old series Night Gallery, but I find myself planted in front of the TV.  I figure with music playing (and I have it on loud, lol) I can putz around and get stuff done while enjoying myself.
