How cute! It reminds me of our Buster smelling the flowers. They sure are inquisitive! Thanks Possum for posting this pic. I love it!
We reached 68 today and most all the snow is gone. Tomorrow is to be cold and even colder on the weekend. We sure are having strange weather!
Our deer with mostly white on it is back.....have no clue where they went but it seems they are back. Activity at the bird feeders is not so good but today there were two cardinals that are back. Juncos are gone and are hoping they return.

Thank you, Bernie, for our March perching place/nest. I found this picture a bit ago and think it's a Robin's nest in a Yew bush. Our Cardinals love the Yews and I guess Robins figure they're a safe place for their babies.

It's cold here again - had a little snow last night and was under a wind advisory. The squirrels took their sweet old time getting up this morning. I cleaned and filled their stainless steel bowl with water and by the time they got around to eating and drinking, thin ice was beginning to form. Of course, the crazy bow legged squirrel with the bald spots had to step on the ice and broke it and got one leg wet. I felt bad, but it's not like I can grab him and towel him off, lol.
Southern Cassowary. Can you imagine being on a beach and seeing one of these birds saunter on by?
Wish I had those eye lashes :-)
