Buy yourself some frozen meals and binge some TV.  I'm sure you will be fine, at least your mobile. I broke my foot a few years ago and I immediately ordered a knee scooter, once that arrived I could cook, do laundry.

@spumoni99  don't forget it's her right wrist so the scooter won't help her. But I know what you are talking about. My 29 year old nephew had surgery on his achilles heel. He had to stay in bed for a few days but after that he was out and about on his scooter. His friends would pick him up and take him shopping. That really helped a lot. He even went to two weddings using his scooter.

It's really something when you can't walk properly because of the pain.

@Sage04.  It's her WRIST that's broken.  Shn3 doesn't need a scooter.

@Kachina624  you misunderstood. @spumoni99  mentioned that she once broke her foot and she had a scooter and was able to get around. I said her wrist is broken so she does not need scooter.

You have to pay attention @Kachina624  lol

Do you have a senior center that is near you?  I know when I had surgery they had a service that delivers meals. It was very inexpensive. Are you on a medicare plan? Sometimes they offer services to help. I don't know your age but maybe something similar could help you.

You could hire a cleaning lady to keep your place clean. As far as grocery shopping, maybe one of your neighbors could help. I know some grocery stores have plans you join and they will deliver your food. Their are many options to help until you can manage on your own. Just a few suggestions you might use. Wishing you good health going forward.

There was a discussion about grocery delivery services and someone mentioned Walmart offers a delivery service by an actual WM employee who is vetted (background check) that will deliver and put your groceries away for you.

I know their WM+ you can pay monthly and cancel any time.

I realize its her wrist my point is that at least she can walk, that is half the battle.  I know some things will be hard one handed though of course. Thats why I said just get some frozen meals and take it easy.

@Luvsmyfam  - Wow - sorry you injured your wrist!   I'm assuming you're not able to work both jobs.  How long will you be out?  Hope you're okay.

I broke my left wrist which is my dominant hand. Operation, etc. You learn to do just about everything with the opposite hand. The only thing I couldn't do was write.  You'll get the hang of it!!! Good luck and keep your head up..it will get better.
