We sold our townhome in less that 48 hours. Within 24 hours we knew we had three offers coming and accepted one of those. We, also, are buying a new construction villa. Everything is on the main level which is what I need. Stairs and I don't like each other. Today we are to find out our closing date but yesterday it was looking to be June 8. We need to do another downsize which means my Christmas things. DD, Sarah, is interested in much that I have and will take quite a bit off my hands. At least, those items I feel I can part with.
@Sassy7356 WOW, that was fast!
How soon after the closing date can you move?

@Sassy7356 I remember when we bought this house, the owner's closing went through early on the day, ours was taking forever and they kept harassing us as if we could do anything about it, in addition to which I was still moving out cleaning after the movers got things out.
Moving out of here would be an enormous nightmare, shudder every time I think of it, lol, but I am thinking about a one story. If DH weren't here, what would I have done for these past months as I couldn't go downstairs or drive, in addition to which the monster house being built next door may make up my mind.

Today is in the 70's, tomorrow 80's, back and forth with these temps from now on, which means I begin my hand watering Summer feat.
I discovered the other day that a tree peony potted last Fall, is the wrong color for the area, and the apparent correct plant was eaten down so no flowers from it this year. I had DH cage the expensive important plants and shrubs, one shrub has been eaten down so it may be dead, will have to inspect this weekend.
Strangely, since I began taking Night Time, there has been no pain in my injured leg, so am thinking maybe the muscle there has been relaxed. I still use the crutch for longer walks inside and out. This is my fourth day in a row that I have slept the night before, so I am feeling more normal and things are getting done around here.
I discovered another channel last evening by accident, the Great American Family, lots of Columbo and Little House on the Prairie, and will have lots of Christmas movies at some point, don't really watch these as I have many DVDs. I discovered the channel, then moved to another during commercial, and couldn't find it no matter how many numbers I used, so got up and went to the computer to find the channel number.
The other channel I discovered by accident a month or so ago is the Story Channel, all nonfiction.
Wishing everyone a nice weekend.

@1Snickers I have decided to put my girl on cranberry supplements to try to prevent another UTI, because I know that these can be repetitive and I don't want her on antibiotics over and over, and since she will be on the diuretic forever, it could become a vicious cycle. I take it myself every once in a while just in case because I also take a diuretic, but not every day as she has to. I bought Cranberry Rx at amazon after looking around, and she will begin it next week.
I saw no symptoms of the infection. She will finish the antibiotics today.

@Tissyanne I know you're glad that MRI is over and it's great that those earplugs worked! That waiting to hear the results is so hard, but with those portals they help to ask questions, and results are faster.
Everyone: It's a sunny 84 degree day. This morning at sunrise we had our first walk. I was awake at 5 a m because last night after dinner when we were taking our last walk Snickers lifted her back leg like something hurt it. She didn't want me to touch it and acted like a bee sting. We cut our walk short and I carried her home and gave her half a Benadryl and sprayed her foot.
She held it up and hobbled to go outside with me carrying her up and down steps. It didn't swell but I was becoming concerned that it could be knee damage.
Last night I checked on her twice and this morning when I came in the den she greeted me wagging and ready to walk! I haven't let her jump out the doggy door, and it's hotter now so we just had the one half mile walk she insisted on early.
I did some shopping and found a small solar fountain like some on TV. It's just plastic and fits in the stone birdbath. The birds and squirrels are fascinated. A cardinal was taking a shower.
I had a lovely large one at the base I'd a huge Beech tree just in front of the kitchen bay window. It was a boy and girl under an umbrella in metal and cement fountain. After replacing many pumps due to clogging and the base leaking I gave it to the tree men when they cut the tree.
My son had a free cookie from a new business. I had one bite. Wow! About $5 per cookie and all kinds. Today they were free on the Ap so I had to get one, they were chocolate chunk. I took it back to his store and took a piece, leaving the rest for him.
Maybe I'll buy the lemon cheesecake one for his birthday in September. He mentioned it twice.
He said this morning at the bank drive thru the teller asked if Cora wanted her dog bone. He said he started crying immediately when explaining she had passed away. The teller was consoling him as he held the line up.
His friend an wife want him to meet them and others to hear a band tonight, I told I'm he really should do that since he doesn't have Cora to feed or walk. I hope he will.

@mousiegirl You are so kind to help all of those feral cats. The two black kittens must have been your Sugar bears you've mentioned. They were lucky to have you as a friend.

Zoo for me - I love animals. They are therapeutic and interesting.
A zoo also. Spending a long time would allow me to become friendly with the animals. (At a distance!)
