@desertrat8   Who knows why they are rising.  The impt. thing is the hospitalization and death rate.  That is the bottom line.

Also, contact tracing will tell what behaviors led to the rise.

Not sure what area you live but the blue surgical type masks are everywhere!!!

In fact, today I even saw some cute masks for kids - had air vent.  

Seems all the orders are coming in and stores have excss now people got them elsewhere...they were on "reduced rack".

Your employer is not going to provide them?  My employer mailed 2 face masks to all the employees at home when the shut-down began.  I thought that was seriously awesome of them!

@homedecor1 The ones with the air vent offer no protection.  Those are designed for athletes, not virus protection.  They allow air in and out.

@Loreeb :  You might want to buy some " mask extenders"; they are inexpensive and allow you to wear the masks with earloops without putting the strain on your ears.

My thoughts too...you want to be comfortable and be able to breathe without your face breaking out.
