@Bird mama   Thank you, I was looking for muffins, lol.

I think these would be great for DH to eat in the morning as when he doesn't eat oatmeal, he eats sugery cereal or bagels, shouldn't eat either, and these seem at least more nourishing.

How is Finley?

I am putting away my Summer decor today, will take me a week or so, then will put out Fall.  It's too hot to be in the garden except for early morning, or after 5PM, so have the kitchen ceiling fan whirring away, while pups lay prostrate, and I perspite, maybe I will lose a few ounces, lol.

By any chance, have you seen the four movie series The Hunger Games?  It was on USA a week ago, only saw the first two, but bought the dvd with all four on it, so will try to watch the last two this weekend.

@mousiegirl  My flock is thriving, thank you for asking.

My two sisters were into the Hunger Games series.

Re: Looking for Shade at the Back Fence - August 2019

got a text from my daughter.the condo has to be completely gutted!!! Because of the battery and plastics that melted.no one should even go in without  a respirator.to clean up the people have to wear hasmat suits. Guessing they might want to sell after this mess.

I forgot to add that everything that leaves the condo has to be wrapped to prevent contamination of anyone or anything. Who knows what went through the heating/AC ductwork.

what a shame just because someone was careless or maybe the  scooter was faulty. I’m sure the insurance co. will look into that possibility

@Epicurean   OMG!  I feel so bad for your daughter.  All of this from one stupid renter.

Epi, so sorry about your daughter. Yep, think I would sell also but not sure if there would be a problem. Understand it has to be redone but you just never know. How sad.

Tad cooler - if you can use the word cooler - today and tomorrow and then by Tuesday back up to 100 plus. As I keep reminding myself, this IS August - what do I expect.

Hope all have a great day.

Re: Looking for Shade at the Back Fence - August 2019

I picked up a couple of really big storage tubs yesterday when I went grocery shopping.  I had a $15 off coupon if I spent $75 at Meijer's so I bought them from there.  Home Depot still beats Meijer's on the price of the storage racks I want.

54 in. H x 36 in. W x 14 in. D 4-Tier Wire Shelving Unit in Chrome

I can't go too tall because I have a dropped ceiling in the basement that I don't feel like taking down or messing with, lol.

I figure I will need two.

I went through decorations and pitched a couple of Christmas, Halloween and Easter. Once everything was repacked I decided to tackle the built in shelving in the little utility area in the basement.

I got as far as the two smaller storage bins.  One was related to my wedding, the other related to my husbands illness and funeral.  What a combination, huh.

I got rid of duplicate invitations and menus from the wedding and all the promotional paperwork (caskets, etc) from the funeral home.

I didn't want to do anymore in the basement after that.

I'm eating some vanilla ice cream with lightly salted peanuts sprinkled on it.

I think it's time to watch some TV Woman Happy
