We have a lot of Robins as well

 

they moved away briefly as DH moved and fertilized the lawns,but came back quickly

 

Robins are my spring/summer Joy!

 

Love them when they are here in Illinois, sad when they are gone

I was removing leaves from borders.  Every time I would walk away with a bucket of leaves I would return to this fella in the area I just left.  It almost always had a beak full of worms, but it wanted to hunt more.  By the end of the day there were 2 of them and they were getting quite brave.  Guess birds can do risk vs reward calculations in those tiny brains.

Driving home today I noticed a single female turkey pecking on the side of the road. Unusual as they travel in flocks or with their babies so I mentioned it to DS.

 

He's said she's social distancing 🤔
