Among Friends

Good Morning Ladies, I hope no one minds mys tarting the Saturday morning chat that Ms Lola usually begins for us. Here's hoping eveyone is well and had a nice week.

Not much on the home front here fashion wise. I did see in the top finds a logo tank with much lace on the trim much the same as Ms Kathleen Kirkwood's lace trimmed tank. Need say Kathleen's is as lovely if not more so and a lot of dollars less. Still shaking my head over logo prices.

Anyway, my week was not all that I'm saddened to say. I wish my things were better but do not know how to achieve that, struggling to say the least. At times I like it's all me but then I think not so much. At a loss to remedy the situation. I open my mouth to air out what's up and it all gets turned around and suddenly all my fault. If I could only learn to not stir pots.

Looks like rain again here, it's certainly been more on than off. Hope everyone's gardens are blooming brightly and harvests of veggies abounds. We've been enjoying our salads more these days because they're all our's.

I am just seeing your post.

Sometimes I think that things get buried in "Among Friends."

It sounds like your week was a challenge.

Does this have to do with the friend who is staying with you?

Oh Ms Lola you know me too well @lolakimono  indeed it does. It's turned into a huge mess and has or is totally ruining the friendship and closeness we all had. He's stayed too long, he is in the process, should be back in MI early/mid July. So much I could tell you but certainly not here. DH is not the one as he gets caught (or more put by me) sort of in the mid. None of this is any good anymore.

You've no idea how I appreciate you knowing and asking.

@lolakimono  Oh yeah way before the holidays - p/t Sept, f/t Oct. all for free, what a deal eh???!!! He asked way back, he begged, he'd pay rent, util's, help w/projects. We never pressed, he offered none of it. He's given us $500 at various intervals, no help on projects. He loves to spend $$$ on the best of whatever it is, and he LOVES to buy new vinyl. My point is all about no offers. He did work from Oct to May, hated it and would definitely not've been able to rent anywhere and keep himself on the pay. It's all turned out very sad, depressing, almost hateful. That's the worst of it all.
