Certainly, words can be empty without actions.

Yet the words posted clearly show love and concern and who is to say when somebody uses any of them that they also do not use actions?

A nice reminder that words can stand alone just as actions can stand alone; and just sometimes the two together are also nice.

Agree with you.

The fact that people say these things are actions demonstrating how much they care. Speaking is an action.

Not sure about that one. Known too many that will say whatever it takes, for?

Absolutely...that's true.  There are snakes out there.

It's interesting how this thread was interpreted.

In no way was I thinking about snakes in the grass; although I am well aware of those who use both words and actions.  I have met them, too.

I believe @Cakers3 saw this the same as I did.

It's all about the signs someone still cares.  The examples do not only show words, they show actions, as well.

"Here I made this for you."  Hands something to the other person or serves some sort of favorite food.

"Did you eat?"  Normally, that means I will make something for you.

Those words clearly indicate caring and taking action.

"Drive safely.  The roads are supposed to get icy."

Those words clearly show concern.  They also show action.  The person made the point to warn about the roads.  It could have been a phone call.

Sure, there are actors and actresses out there who might pretend to care, but let's hope as adults we have learned how to discern the difference between good and bad.
