I am so sorry for what you are going through. I just watched my dad pass in the same way about 3 weeks ago and I am shattered❤️

I'm so sorry that your brother is so sick. He is so young, I'm 60 too.

Praying for your brother to have an easy and beautiful transition.

I am so sorry. It is har to let them go.

There is a nurse on You Tube who is a death and dying nurse and she has some really good short video's where she explains every stage of the dying process. It sounds morbid but her information is extremely comforting.

She is very good at her job. Knowing that dying is a slow process but not painful, she explains so much, and it is just comforting to know that they go when they want to, when they are ready, and how to know what stage they are in. I just  love her compassion.

Hugs for you (((  )))

I will check it out. My uncle was a priest and spent 20 years helping with the dying. He shared some stories with me - without breaking any confidences - and explained a lot to me too. Those stories reinforced my faith and trust in God. I took care of my uncle the last few years of his life and we were very close. I miss him a lot.

My brother died yesterday morning. Just as I held him all the time when he was born, I was holding him when he took his last breath.

My heart is crushed. His spouse is broken. We were both with him when he passed.

I picked up the phone to call him last night. We talked multiple times a day it was a jolt to realize I'll never hear his voice again.

@CalminHeart  I'm glad for you that you were blessed and could be there. Many people don't get that opportunity. It was a generous gift from your sister-in-law, to include you.  You'll both need one another now.  You have my condolences.

@CalminHeart .................I am sorry but your brother is now at peace and happy.  Those of us that are left behind are they ones that have to endure the grief, saddness and heartache.  Be strong, talk to the Lord and he will be with you during your heartache.  Take care I will continue to pray for you and your family.
