This trend toward warmer winter weather is very concerning for me.   If this is the result of global warming,  it makes you wonder what the future bodes.   I'm already dreading summer if the warmer temperatures continue.   When you live in the desert,  it's a real concern.

@Kachina624,    I hope the summer will not be so hot.  I actually handle the cold much better and I miss the snow.  At the beginning of winter we had 7 in. of snow in my area and that is all the snow we had.  Yes, it can get very hot in the desert and I cannot take the heat.  Let's hope for snow next year. @Katcat1  Where are you?   We had about 3" of snow about 2 weeks ago and that was it for us.   Only maybe 2 weeks total of really cold temperatures.   There's been an unusual amount of high winds which are typical for spring but not winter.

I'm honored to be mentioned in your 6,000th post!

@Kachina624,  I am in Chicago suburbs.  How about you?  I hardly pay attention to the posts.  When I first came on board, I was buying all kinds of skincare, etc.  Those days are over and I am saving some money.  Cat Very Happy

It is a balmy 70 flippin degrees here in southern WV.   I have my teacher daughters bedroom window open to air out her room since she's been sick for 2 weeks.   I also have my couch and loveseat cushions airing out on my front porch.

My husband cleaned the ashes out of our woodstove today, as we are to cool down drastically by tomorrow night, and we will probably need to have extra heat in the house!   Such crazy weather for February!  Definitely recording these temperatures on the calendar for future reference.

The weather has been unnatural.  50's-60's in Michigan in winter is unnatural.  I've seen Robins and Geese and it's too early for them to be back around here.  Right now I am under severe storm warnings and watches which will be followed by a winter weather advisory.
