I sometimes leave the tv volume on low during these shows. It’s the best cure for insomnia since a glass of warm milk. Lol

Re: LATE NIGHT GIFTS

I used to do that will with Soundscapes ....soothing peaceful music choice channel. (I've also used binural beats).  However, after researching decided it was not such a good idea to have electronics on in the bedroom throughout the night.  Now I turn off all electronics (including phones).  But you are right, it does seem as though the sound does help with sleep.

@phoenixbrd  In all honesty, I have a few CDs of rain storms, waves washing up on the beach, flute music, etc. It is soothing, but is also habit forming. I find when traveling, I must have at least one CD with me to play on my laptop.

@Shanus  I, too, indulge and play music when traveling (also in flight)....new surroundings, eventful time.  If it helps you sleep during this time, it is supportive and I wouldn't be concerned with the long term effects.  My need for sleep would have first priority.

I use the Relaxing Melodies app on my phone when the grandbaby is here and I get her down to sleep....it really helps.
