I am excellent at online shopping and e-mail.  I can use my cell phone, but not easily and carry it only in case of emergency.  I don't do social media or text.  I would be lost without being able to use a computer to the extent I do.  Live alone and spend a lot of time on the computer.  I really don't have anyone to text with anyway.  My kids can e-mail or phone.  Many of my friends that I have e-mailed with are several years older that I am and now they are pretty much giving up e-mail for various reasons.  To me that is sad as I miss hearing from them.

No. I don't. I'm not a 'senior' yet and I don't stay on top of the latest technology so I certainly don't plan to as I age. I think it's important to stay reasonably current and to know what's available, but not necessarily to avail oneself of it. I use technology that I need and that is of interest me. It's there to serve me, not for me to be a slave to it...

It's very important to me at age 64. Not the social aspect of technology ----I am not on any of the social platforms--always thought they would come back to bite us in the caboose and look--lots of people with bites outta their a#sses!!!  I rely on the tech advances that have and will, be found so  cancer never come back!!! Or any of the horrendous things out there. I have lots of tech around me and I love to learn how to make it work for me. You can't escape it!!!
