I'd like suggestions for what to put in them besides cookies 🍪 or candies? 🍬

I think it would depend on how much you want to spend.  If you don't like the cookie thing then maybe cheese and crackers and some kind of wrapped meat, so it doesn't spoil.  

Maybe a couple unbreakable ornaments for their tree.  I buy ornaments at a craft show that they will put your name on them.  I have an ornament every year for years with my cats (plural) names on them, and with the year.

@Starpolisher  You could put popcorn, a savory Chex party mix or even a fruit salad in them 🙂.

A few cupcakes or brownies.  Or maybe a hand cream and a few mints.  I've given them before with hand cream, a tiny hand sanitizer and some hersheys kisses.

Maybe some kitchen items like a small box of some type of bread or cake mix, some measuring spoons, a measuring cup..........so they can make themselves a treat.

I don't mean to sound weird but I don't like the idea of eating from someone else's kitchen.  Just my immediate relatives maybe.  You can be very creative depending on the size of the lock n locks.

@Starpolisher - I'm interested in the answers you get! I get these for gifts every year, but I fill them with a mixture of Lindt and wrapped English Toffee candles.

A few years ago a friend tried to return the L&L container! I told her that was part of her gift!

Cruise the dollar store.  They have a lot of brand name items in small sizes that would fit into the containers. You could find a variety of things and all brand name.
