I take showers.  My hubby is always asking me where I am taking the shower?

Being born and raised in the midwest (Ohio) is this a regional thing?

Being from Ohio I drink pop and red off the table.

I know pop/soda/Coke is a regional colloquialism, but I never thought about taking/getting/showering.

South Carolina girl here...everyone I know "takes" showers. If we don't call coke, ginger ale, sprite, etc. by its name, we call it "soda" or "soft drinks".

Take a bath, and I love to bathe quitely in the dim lights. When I have a carbonated beverage is is soda.

Growing up all we had was a bathtub, no shower

Can't remember the last time I took a bath.
