yesterday my hubby was backing out of the driveway. He looked to his left towards the neighbors yard and there sat a big fat groundhog!!! I hope this is the last one.

Depending on how far away they dropped the last one off, this might be your groundhog You wish your's would go away and I haven't seen mine since May 31st

The weather heated WAY UP - darn it anyway. Course I had enough of the cold and wet but this sure came on with a bang. We can now start sitting out and chatting and snacking.
A nice young man has been helping me with a lot of things around the house - he has been a blessing. got a lot of dead limbs and tree trunks out of the way. Those trunks - not huge trees, almost all fruit trees - had been dead forever and Aben just pushed them and over they fell - nice not to see them jutting up all around. He also trimmed the Jasmine bushes - they look really pretty and neat now. Does anyone know just how frustrating it is not to be able to do what you always use to do? Horrible.
Hope all have a great day.

Bernie, this is a much larger groundhog than the one we caught. The first one was moved far enough away that he would not have come back, esp. that fast.

Freddie @Winifred Even though it seems like I do alot, there are many things that I just can't do anymore. I suppose I could try however my shoulders seem to be a weak spot on my body and I'd like to be able to use my arms in my old age. Just taking the glass storms off of my windows has to be done really slowly and carefully because the last time I went at it with a gusto I got frozen shoulder (again) and landed up in a shoulder specialist's office for 'the shot'.

@Epicurean There could be a groundhog community (I'm not joking) that lives in your neighborhood. It's like raccoons, they all get together and roam.

Freddie @Winifred thank you for sharing that you are getting help around your property. I'm not a "church lady" however I've been praying for that too. Every time you share something like this it's like you're giving testimony and you don't even know it

On our trip back home last week,I and DH saw something in the road.Turned out it was a turtle.DH stopped and picked up the turtle and carried him ( I usually use "him" ) across the road.Another car also stopped. It feels good to know there are nice people in this world. And that is how the turtle won the race,my DH helped him cross the road,HAHA.
