today is bone scan the annual scan done of the body for weakened bones. that is at 130pm

did get walk in early-hung out clothes should dry-there is a pretty good breeze.

I picked up 3 of these this morning at my local greenhouse. Weigela "Midnight Wine Shine". I haven't planted them yet, but maybe tomorrow. The heat and worst of all, that humidity, came back with a vengeance, so I kept a low profile, lol. These will fill in the last empty space on the perimeter of the old pool area (outer edge), if that makes any sense.

hello all

we had a power packing thunderstorm that lasted about 2 hours-it dumped torrential rain on us rain gauge said 1 inch this morn

have a dr appt today but not at the office i requested-that dr cancelled late yesterday-we have to go another dr at office way north of us-leaving 2 hours early for a just in case we get lost going to this office we have no idea where it is.

@viva923  What a PITA to get a last minute cancellation from the 'second opinion' foot doctor practice.   I hope you found the alternate foot doctor without too much driving around.

Well,our heat is just getting worse,is that even possible a😁? This week our heat index could reach 105 deg. 

A few evenings ago,maybe three or four we finished dinner ad were sitting watching tv. Our house is a very open floor plan,which I love. You can see the dining room  from were I was sitting,and a not very wide wall between kitchen and DR. I happened to look out the corner of my eye and what did I see but a mouse. He must hae come from the kitchen and was scurrying to the D R. We got up but could not find him,we thought he might hae run under the  sofa but could not find him. Hubby caught him that night along with one in the garage. It's not unusual to find one in the garage esp if hubby had the door open during the day. So. We bought some rodent repellent spray and did the garage and laundry room. Hopefully this will keep them away.

Good morning. I'm just beat this morning, lol. I woke up to rain again. Well, that's ok, as it wasn't a long-lasting downpour and means I don't have to water the new plants that I got into the ground late yesterday, lol. I do have a few things I wanted to do outside this morning, but will wait a bit and check how wet the ground is before I attempt anything.
My Key Largo daughter is coming in sometime today, her best friend since high school's father passed and she is here for the funeral, so while she is spending tonight and tomorrow night with me, she will be in and out while here. I'm hoping trucker daughter gets in and maybe the three of us can have dinner out somewhere tonight. Have no idea if that will work out though, at this point. She may already have plans for all I know and this was all last minute. So, we shall see, but it'll be ok however it works out. Meanwhile, Luther and I will take a walk, then I guess I'll do some dusting and vacuuming (I spend all my time outdoors and the inside gets ignored, lol), going to make banana bread (have bananas ready) and need to go buy some mulch today also. So, I guess it'll be a full day.
