Anyone else watching the Johnny Versace show on FX ? Recall that the killer had also killed I believe the husband of the woman who sells perfumes on HSN Marilyn Miglyn. I don't know how the web was interwoven or why he did that but it must have been horrible for Marilyn. Ive never been a fan of her line but it's tragic that this individual went on a spree. Ive owned several Versace fragrances over the years and still have some left. I believe when he was killed, the line of fragrances went downhill. My local Big box store doesn't even carry his line anymore.

His name was Gianni, not Johnny.

Yes - his name was Lee Miglin. Marilyn was on QVC at the time.
Cunanan killed 3 others besides Miglin and Versace. It was never explained why he may have picked on Lee Miglin. It was thought they had a relationship but that was never proven. Same with Versace. Altho Cunanan was obsessed with him.
I watched the first one and I'll continue watching it. I thought it was very well done.

But weren't the Miglins married ? Why would they have a relationship ? And you are implying a happily married man to a successful business woman is gay ? I don't buy it,
no, rather I believe Cunnanan ( thank you I had forgotten his name) was someone who was obsessed with Marilyn Mignan on HSN. He may have killed Marilyn's husband out of a jealous rage. Wonder if the FX program will touch on this often forgotten act.

Funny, I don't recall her ever being on QVC. Did she start there before moving to HSN? Never liked her line. She always struck me as someone trying to emulate Tova.

@Reever there is more than one documentary with the history of this serial killer and his timeline all over the country and how he laid in wait for his victims. I suggest you do some research and then you'll find that all of your questions will be answered.

You think because a man is married that he can't be gay or bi? Cunanan had a history of relationships with wealthy older men. It looks like next week's episode deals with the Miglin murder.

I remember watching her on QVC - I never watched HSN - still don't. I liked her Galore fragrance.

I watched The Assassination of Versace, did not know this previously. I also did not know until reading your post that the killer also killed the husband of the woman who sold Marilyn Miglyn's perfumes. What a monster that man was, horrible.
