@Winifred  I've been noticing this month that it isn't a black as pitch when I leave work at the end of the day.

Re: January 2018 Bird's Nest - Ringing in the New Year

A grey day here, not cold, so in the kitchen cleaning, puttering, and enjoying the lit gingerbread tree and all else.

DH went back to work on Friday, and is still using SportsGel, which is working, even though at his doctor visit on Thursday, he was written a prescription for a cream.  I told him that as long as SportsGel is working, why try something else, so he didn't.

Today, I bought an Teeter Inversion apparatus,great price, and told DH to watch the presentation and try it, we both can use it.  It is supposed to be especially good for sciatica, and if DH uses it every day, think he will as he is big on exercise, goes to a gym three days a week, it may solve the issue.  I would use it periodically or after weeding when I can barely walk the next day, lol.  I see the weeds growing nice and tall and green, groaning that before long, I will be nose to ground pulling those $%^&, lol.

@mousiegirl  It's funny you mention the inversion table.  I just saw a commercial for one (not on HSN either) early this morning on TV.  I bet when your back is hurting that it feels like heaven to lock your ankles in and just invert.  I don't think people recognize how much the earth's gravity takes it's toll on our skeletal system.

@Bird mama  I have something similar, creaated for sit-ups, which I bought here or at HSN years ago.  I tried using it like an inversion, tilting back as far as I could go, pretty far, but not as far as an inversion, and I always felt better afterward.

Re: January 2018 Bird's Nest - Ringing in the New Year

@mousiegirl  I forgot to mention it was for a Teeter's table (this morning).  I know it's not long term but seeing the visual of your spine opening up and letting all the fluids get in there almost made me say ahhhh, and I was sitting on the couch.

We know I have some bone density concerns and I would love to have one of the tables, invert for 30 minutes before seeing the endocrinologist.  Can you imagine me being an inch or two taller than the last time in my stocking feet?  The price of the table would be worth the look on the doctor's face, rofl.

Chip62, adorable picture of the owls. Like it.''

Very warm today  and just heavenly - 81 degrees. Loved every minute but the day was way too short.

Still not feeling great - no aches, etc, just unbelievably fatigued. Geesh.

My feathered friends were eating today like it was going out of style. Probably have to refill the feeders by tomorrow.

@Winifred,

I am also tired because in CT is sooo cold that makes everyone sleepy besides it gets dark very early at about 4:00p.

Glad that you have no pain, nature is very wise remember to listen to your body🌻
