Cold again here today but a little warmer.  Supposed to get warm enough to snow tonight.   

Got garbage ready for Merle to put at the end of the drive plus the recycle bin.  I was ordered to stay off the drive.  They pick up in the morning.  He just called and said I goofed and put out the recycle bin and  "we" put it out last week.  They only do the recycle every other time.  Just leave it there he says and I will put it back when I get home Thursday.   Right.   I'm always afraid I'll hit them when I back out so would much rather put then back on side of garage.   Unless we get ice, I'll bring them back up when they're emptied. I dont think there was much in the recycle one anyway.  They are on wheels so no big deal.    

The schools were on 2 hour delay.   Since they curtailed bus service when the wind chil is so low and it is still dark, they delay start time.    That way parents work schedule gets messed up.   I would rather have the delay then have some kid get hit walking in the dark so it's a good thing. The bad thing was when the governor decided we didn't need school bus funding.  Didn't want to owe the government.

It's pretty cold here - at least it's not too windy.

I'm back to driving my own car, my sister is in a dealership courtesy vehicle for the next day or so.

I'm back to work after a long weekend - that's about all of the excitement going on in my part of the world, lol.

Hello, it's snowing here, like a snow globe, going left, right up and down.  Just enough of a visual disruption to blur my view of Windsor Ontario across the river.

It sounds like Michigan will not be impacted by the big snow storm that is or will be hammering alot of people this week.

Evening, just got home from dinner out with old friends from our Elementary School Parents Council, been meeting 4 times a year for over 30 years! it's always the 3rd Weds of the month & sometimes we have 20+ show up, fun time out with the girls, many of our kids are also close friends, our neighborhood is like a small town in the big city, yes things have changed just like the rest of the world but its a great place to live & raise a family, we tend to not empty nest, guess I'll leave feet first  lol

Weather is not too cold, there was no wind so that's a plus we're to warm up for a few days with some lite snow, nothing like the East Coast is getting, hope all there are doing ok

Did make banana bread yesterday, turned out quite good, left some at the back fence along with hot coffee, enjoy

Spix,  don't know if you are aware of this or not but I have this addiction to banana bread so if you don't mind, I'm first in line for a slice or two.   Just remember who asked first.  

Sounds like like your neighborhood is my kind of place.

What Betty has said about banana bread doesn't tell the whole story. Better guard that bread or she will literally drive up at your house and take it. She is the number one banana bread thief. Sure wish Jody would come back here - she can tell you that is the truth. Yes she DID go to Jody's for her banana bread. We use to bring a lot of food here for all the Fencers to eat - banana bread rarely made it to where anyone but Betty ever got any. LOL.

OK you guys who got it all??  seems like it disappeared quickly, now really we must share  LOL

BTW it sure was good, best I've ever made  HAH! seems like letting the bananas get very ripe, like black, made a difference in the banana taste.

Ok just kidding, when my DM made it, she would not let us touch it for a day, said it had to mellow, who can wait?

Well heck, Bernie.   I needed that bread.  That's about as bad as me driving clear to NC and being gifted banana bread and somehow it never reached me.  I was right there but the banana bread wasn't.  Hmmm
