My mother informed me,my ex is playing Santa at our family holiday tomorrow.Not sure how I feel about this.He has had meals at my house before when it is a holiday,and it always went well.I sometimes get the impression he wishes things hadn't turned out the way they did.

I agree with you completely! Sounds like he wants to work things out or he'd never show up for things like that.

My ex showed up randomly unexpectedly the thanksgiving just before Covid...with a three year old baby he had with another woman. Keep in mind, I couldn't have children,we're now both in our 50s, he and I parted ways years ago, and the "lady" he had her with is 28 years old & a real piece of work who lost custody of her other 2 children as well as this one! It was ODD to say the least! I hope yours turns out better!

Sounds like you and your family are on good terms with him. That's a good thing. Just go and enjoy yourself.

Nothing like mine. We did not part on good terms but the way he showed up you'd certainly think we did...as if nothing ever happened & look what I brought for US!!!

My mother would never allow such an uncomfortable situation - my feelings would come first.

All I can say is if "Santa" shows up, I wouldn't.

Yes,I will enjoy myself reguardless.When we parted,it was horrific.As the years went by,it got better.(We have been divorced 12 yrs,13 in June)And of course the SKANK who he left me for,is long gone.Tickles me pink!
