@ECBG - Funny thing is, I'm from the North and I really do miss the first snowfall of the season. I miss the smell and the quiet a snowfall brings.

@riley1. I too,am from the North. This is my first year here. Love seeing the snow. It's beautiful. Great timing that it came on the weekend so schools didn't have to close.   Hope ice doesn't become a problem

Here in eastern NC we've had several hours of ice which is slowly changing over to snow. Our son had planned to visit us from KC but his flight last night was cancelled. He was rescheduled for tomorrow, but I don't see that happening.
