We are in Florida. Congrats birdmamma on your new freedom. I'm sure your birds are happy.

I forgot to put a short sleeve top In My carry in the motel bag so will just wear my pj top til we can get in our house. It's really just a tshirt. I don't think I'll stink too bad. It was a horrible drive. Everyone in the world is out on the hiway I think.

Betty, I had been wondering if you two were headed to Florida this year - been a bit quiet about it? Your family coming down to also spend some time there with you all this year? that is good. Have a good time.

Do not worry about wearing your PJ top = makes perfect sense to me.

Have a great time - how long will you be there - my Sis and bro in law headed back to Michigan on Thursday - they should be home or near there. They only stayed two months this year - that was a real surprise and big disappointment to her hubby - he LOVES it there, Sis, not so much.

Got to get a move on.

I can not believe it! I just got an email from the weather service - tomorrow night beginning at 9PM we are to start getting snow, with an accumulation of 1-2 inches. I thought for sure we were done. My poor daffodils. Another year killed by snow.

I just got another email from th weather service - they are now saying 4 inches of snow tonight.

I find seasons have shifted. It stays warm longer. We still had hot days in December. the cold didn't start until March. May be it has something to do with the poles moving and the magnetic fields shifting. I also noticed that my Hummingbirds have not arrived. Normally you can set a clock, 1 April, sharp. Haven't seen them yet. I just hope they made the trip across the Golf. The place in Texas that's usually their last stop before the trip was devastated by the storm. The people in Rockport usually put out many feeders so they can tank up before their long trip. Since Rockport was destroyed in the storm I am sure they went hungry. So worried about my little guests.

It was quite wArm in Florida yesterday. Back home in Indiana (isn't that a song?) they were having snow squalls. I think Florida is supposed to be rainy the next few days. Hope they are typical showers as my sis and hubby are coming tomorrow. I laid out my special euchre cards before we left home and they must still be where I laid them out. Will stop by the store to get some new ones today.
