Thursday is house-cleaning day here, but I have a housekeeper so she keeps things in order while I work. My housekeeper is one of the best gifts my husband ever gave me! After working all week & doing laundry, ironing & housework on Saturday, he realized I never got a break. At least now I only have to do laundry & ironing, which I like to do myself.

I was going to clean today and wash the dog tomorrow, but rain is forecast then.
I switched days and am doing the dog's laundry while she dries in her yard in the sun.

I canceled my maid I've had more than 25 years because of the pandemic. I did t want anyone in the house, especially someone going in multiple houses then mine. She hasn't had a vaccine so I haven't told her to return.

I too don't anticipate a fun time cleaning but have a good routine.
Cooler weather will help tomorrow!

Sunday here. Forced myself to do the 2 floors I needed to. It's just getting at it. It's not that hard, and glad when it's over. So much to put back together again.

I went all out on Thursday and cleaned every inch of floors. It's a rather small house, but it still takes me just as much time as when I had a 4100 sq. ft. home.

All bedding was washed and changed, nothing left in the laundry hampers to do.

Kitchen and baths were cleaned.

I try to do all cleaning on Thursday so I can enjoy my weekends. In a very clean house. Nothing is better than a clean house.
