I don't care for them, so I don't own any, but I always felt that would be a lot of fabric around the lower leg.  Seemed like they would be uncomfortable.  But it seems like there's a lot of fans!

I don't like them either.  In fact, I don't like ANY wide leg pants, on ANYBODY.  I don't find them attractive or flattering.  I am not even a fan of bell bottoms either.

They are hazardous to your health. They can make you trip and fall. I don't wear them b/c of that plus I don't think they look good on me anyway.

If it's okay to say that one doesn't like a wide leg pant and it makes someone look like a "granny" or it's just very unattractive, is it okay for me to say the same about gray hair?

I'm not crazy about them for me but I've seen them look good on some of the models and hosts. I've also found some brands seem to look better than others.

They look great on stick-thin ladies.  For other shapes, I think it looks better if the top is form-fitting.  Most people don't want wide and flowy on top AND bottom.

I don't mind some width in my jeans, but 20" opening is to much for me. I ended up sending a pair back that were to wide.
