I took it in High School back in the 60's.

I wish I had opted to take Latin.

And yes, I can write in cursive.

The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog was another popular typing practice sentence because it has 25 of the 26 letters of the alphabet; the v is missing.

In my school typing wasn't offered to college prep students. We had an old fashioned clunky typewriter at home and I taught myself.
