Would you share beginner info if you do these? Thanks. Tips let's say.

@qualitygal I'm not sure what that is so I guess I don't do it.

I've seen these kits in stores -- is this what you are referring to? I have also seen them in crafting catalogs. I have wondered about them, also. I don't know if they would be hard to see. I am curious as well and hope you get some info.

@Shanus its like paint-by-numbers, usually a kit, but using little rhinestones instead of paint.
@qualitygal i find looking up on YouTube for video for information, tips, examples and inspiration especially for mechanical or visual arts really helpful

I do not . The cross stitch group I belong to people use them as cross stitch patterns sometimes..

I've done this! Only once, but I enjoyed it. I really don't know any "tips" to give. It's really quite simple, albeit, monotonous.
I did a lighthouse scene. All you do is adhere a sticky substance to the little tool, then pick up the little gem and attach it to the pattern. Very, very time consuming, but I'm a patient person who enjoys slow going projects.
It took months to complete, but I have to say there were times when I went for weeks without touching it. I had it set up on a table that I pushed aside to a corner of the room.
By the time I was done, I had set over 22,000 little dots into place. Haha.
I ended up framing it, but haven't hung it on a wall yet. It's really pretty!
Enjoy your project @qualitygal.

I've gotten a few kits from HSN to make small projects like ornaments and cards. I like it, I can do it while watching TV and it's calming. I don't really have any tips, other than I purchased a special sealer glue from Amazon that I like, it has a sponge tip and dries clear. Also, I purchased a case (again, from Amazon) with jars to organize the different colors. It's much easier to transfer the gems from those little plastic pouches to the jars and empty from the jars as I work from color to color.

That craft looks interesting, but I would not have the patience. Plus, my hand shake sometimes.

I got two small free kits on a cruise. Just gave them to the 9 and 10 year old granddaughters yesterday when they were getting ready to leave.
Told them not to open them until they got home. The 10 year old immediately turned to her sister and told her to open it. LOL .......
