Not sick of it at all. But then again I live in Arizona where the lows are in the 40's and highs in the low 70's. It's summer I hate when the temps are 90-120 for months on end. Winter can stay as long as it wants.

I can't get over to see my son and his family--they live on a very steep hill and even with 4-wheel drive it's hard for us to get together so our Christmas visit had to be on skype--at least we were able to see and talk to them and enjoy our granddaughter opening her presents from us.

Oh well, when it's 90 degres next summer and we're running the A/C 24 hours a day, we'll look back wistfully and wish for 65 degree days and 25 degree nights

I've lived in a COVID Hot Zone since this started, cared for someone who had COVID, GOT COVID myself, and have LONG COVID ongoing, almost a year.

SO, on Tuesday in the midst of a horrific cold snap, OUR HEAT WENT OUT.

And I'm sure it goes without saying that the part needed to repair it WASN'T AVAILALABLE IN our area, and needed to be SHIPPED.

Listening to my radiator banging away this morning was like a performance by a Celestial Choir!

"Looking forward to spring..." you say? Add my name to THAT list!

I do normally like winter!  Living in NE, we love the change of seasons.  What I am tired of is the isolation of COVID.  We normally have gatherings of family, and that is gone.  We like to go to museums in the winter, and that is gone.  As seniors who are fully vaxed, boosted, with flu shots, we are isolated because our COVID rates are through the roof.  

At least in the warmer weather, we could enjoy our yard and going on walks.  But I will add I am grateful for our home, and all good that has come our way.  It could be much worse.

Put me on the list with others who enjoy winter!   The older I get the less I like summer, LOL!    Seriously though, try to enjoy the moment you're in........don't wish life away.  Every season has it's charm, I love them all with Fall being a favorite and try to make the best of each day

the gloom and grey and rain here in western WA state -----and really about 6 months out the year---always gets me down----and all we have had is rain or snow for the last few months---this weekend is supposed to be dry and sunny-ish and mild temps----need some vit D desperately!!!
