Invicta basically 'paid to play' with their watches. Sure, you can call it 'investments' but really they just they wanted airtime for their product. They absolutely got it but it was to the demise of HQ. I'm sure they did extremely well with their 'investment' the first few years there. Unfortunately there was no way they could sustain sales at HQ with just watches. A silly strategy. Shutting off categories such as, home, kitchen, beauty and even some fashion for the sake of their brand was a massive mistake. Actually, an arrogant mistake, IMO. I'm happy to see them go. No love lost here. I hope the best for HQ after the last remnats of Invicta are gone. It was a great channel with so much affordable good product. I hope they can make a comeback.

I always thought a portion of Shophq's offerings were watches, but definitely not just Invicta. I only knew of Invicta shows on Tuesday nights for a while, but there are a lot of other hours to fill.
As far as other options, I get emails from them all the time with daily ads that aren't watches.
You make it sould like Invicta took advantage of the channel, which seems VERY unlikely. Why? Because there was obviously an idea that worked for both parties. If Shophq management thought the idea worked with their business model, before any shows happened, aggreement contracts were signed.
No one held a gun to anyone's head.
