If you could change your book of life would you?

[ Edited ]

If you had the chance, the choice, wjould you rewrite your life?Have  you gaimed knowledge, strength or growth from trying ,unpleasant  times in life?Or should you think life is better for only sweet? A thought , a moment changed?I am always moving trying, wiping tears, laughing ,praying..Are you always changing, i feel I am...Would you be so strong without the trials ?  I try to be thankful for the trials, they make me think, shake up my quiet ,peaceful world. Are you thankful for the upsets, the shakeups, the movement...I like to thin nk we are changing, moving, constantly. Able to see beyond our place. .So...I hope you continue to evolve, see life through different color glasses, know you are not alone..But unique, precious and only You. Love to you...

No way would I do that.  I am the person I am because of everything I experienced and I wouldn't be with who I am and things would be very different.  I learned from and am a stronger person for every challenging time I experienced and wouldn't change a thing.

I do wish that I had taken more chances, but I don't believe in regret. I figure we did what we did at the time for good reasons , and we played the hand we were dealt. I've had a good life, and I've made peace with the parts that could have bee better. 🌺

Absolutely not! I had a difficult  abusive childhood but wouldn't change a thing...just one change could have kept me from meeting my late husband, having 2 wonderful sons & the grandchildren I adore. You take the life your given, it's many challenges & make the best of it.

The interesting thing about my book of life is that I'm not the author. I believe God has written my story and it's my part to live it. Yes, I'd change things, rewrite a chapter if I could, but I don't hold the pen.

Good to see you Mary Anne, I've been thinking about you lately.❤

Nope, I don't look back in that way because there's no point to it.  I'm happy with my story so far.

I would change my profession. Nursing takes away a lot of your personal life - I often wished I had chosen something like Physical or occupational therapy instead.

Otherwise , we all have to go through the highs and lows of life. Everyone has them.

No, I wouldn’t change anything about my book of life.   I thank God every day for the life I’ve lived; for the choices and decisions I’ve made, and the ones He’s made for me.  My goal every day is to just breathe and enjoy the ride as long as it lasts.

Oh, Mary Anne, my heart breaks for you! Now I know why my heart kept saying your name. What a tragic loss for your family. Precious sis, it's hard to accept, but yes, even death and it's timing is part of God's plan. It says in Psalm 139 that all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be. I will be praying and praying for you. Don't let your heart stop singing. Don't let the pain steal your memory. Don't let the grief shadow your faith. I'm glad you are here. Please, please, keep posting if you need an outlet for your grief. I can't stop people from making dark comments, but I can help hold your hand, as I'm sure others will too. I love you. Big hugs.
