Today, after many years of nagging him about it, my husband (and I really do mean DEAR) is finally going to start emptying out our junk storage room and take to the community recycling center things that have done nothing for the last 20 years or so but gather dust.

I can't believe it! That room is such a dusty (but not really dirty) mess that I'd be embarassed to have anyone see it. I've complained and complained and said almost-mean things and it all seems to roll off him like water off a duck.

And I can't help because of back, hip, and other medical problems. I've suggested he ask his friends/our son/our neigbors to help him but he's seemed deaf to my pleas. And it's not a problem getting the stuff over to the recycling center because it's fairly close by and we have a truck.

I'm a happy woman! Thank you, honey!

Having recently moved, I was forced to go through everything and get rid of (or donate) stuff that was not being used. It was time consuming, but I felt better when it was done!

More than you know, Dominosmon--the area we keep this stuff in is our basement.
