Good for you. I've been retired 8 years next March. Nothing better and I never really do much, but still never bored. I just enjoy not having to go to work. I was there 45 years. Enjoy.

Word of advice. I am not retired I still have several more years ahead of me, but I do have friends that have retired. After you get your much deserved rest. Have a plan of things you want to do, so that you are not bored within a few months.

@icezeus     I have been retired for 10 years... do a lot of nothing and definitely am not bored.... Just because you retire does not mean you need a whole lot to do to keep busy... it is time to just do NOTHING at all... or what ever you like whenever you want to.
