Congratulations on your retirement!  I hope that it is everything you want and more!

It took me quite awhile to get used to it --- I was surprised at that!  I actually felt kind of anxious and not depressed exactly -- but just like --- well, now what????

I had worked steadily from the time I was 19 until I turned 66 -- no break --- so being on the clock was all that I knew!

Now, it's like I never worked!

I'm not one of these people that has to be on the go all the time and constantly has to have activities to fill my time.  I enjoy relaxing and I enjoy being at home.  However, I do at times get a bit of cabin fever.  The covid situation did not help at all and did mess up some plans that I had.

I hope you will be so, so happy.  Enjoy!!!

I hope you have a great happy healthy retirement.

Retirement is the best job in the world.  I retired  at 53 years old in 2000 bc of a disability.  My dh retired a year later & said it took him one day to get used to retirement.  We do a lot of traveling and in May finally got to Louisiana.  The only state we hadn't been to.  Covid19 had us in shutdown for two years.
