Follow-up...My grandson and his bride are cooking up a storm as I sit in the den watching tv and munching chips and dips and cheese and crackers. My grandson amazed me, preparing the turkey like a professional. He's making mashed potatoes the right way and his wife is following her mother's recipes for sweet potato casserole and string bean casserole to the letter. My daughter brought an insane number of desserts. What a great day. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
