Re: I'm Home From My Surgery

@NickNack

Hope the cream helps.  Sure would be great to know what is causing the problem.  Could you have some internal stitches? Hope you rest well & get some answers tomorrow.

@Dazlin

Glad Mayo is there for you.  When one of the specialists at Mayo, Rochester agreed to take me as a patient I had been through the wringer in every way.  What a great place.

@Drythe   Yes, I do have internal stitches.  The PA said I was probably allergic to the glue or internal stitches.  I don't know when they will dissolve (assuming they do).  I see the Urologist (surgeon) on Wednesday.

After I'm completely well I plan to have allergy testing for everything that a surgeon uses (glue, tape, sutures, etc.) so that I can make sure those things aren't used again.

So glad you're home and recuperating @NickNack . I can't imagine the pain you must be experiencing.  How is your appetite? Are you feeling like eating?

@NickNack , how are you feeling today??  How's the pain?

Has the new cream brought any relief?

Yes, Mayo is absolutely fantastic...they never leave any stone unturned, and their care is phenomenal in every way.  Absolutely no comparison to my drs locally...makes me want to fire them all.  Too bad Mayo can't treat us as primary drs...I would go only to them.  But I have to say, if they find anything they'll immediately address it within the drs at Mayo, so that gives me relief.   I'm mainly there for oncology, but I get mammograms there, bone density, and have seen an endocrinologist and a pulmonary dr in the past as well.   I feel like I'm surrounded by angels there, they are so kind and polite.  Mayo here in Florida is about 95 miles north of me, so it takes about 1 hrs 20 minutes...not bad at all.

Please let me know how your doing, and I know your seeing your Dr tomorrow.
