For all of you posters who gave me advice and encouragement, I finally sold my house in the mountains of TN. It was my last real connnection to my dear husband of 42 years. It was hard saying goodbye to all of those memories but I did it!

I am now with my daughter in Orlando and I am looking for a place in Northern Florida possibly Lake City. It has been a rough 3 years and a hard sell. Our primary residence was in Georgia as he worked there so my “stuff” is in storage and in one place waiting for me to decide the next move. Hopefully my last.

Congrats on selling your home, I am sure it was difficult moving forward with out your husband.....but you are looking at a new adventure. Good luck finding a new home and being near your daughter.

What a huge and courageous step. I not only wish you newfound JOY, but I truly admire you. And just think of what you are teaching your daughter by example. I'm impressed.
