I cut my hair the other day. Just in the front. I now have the bowl cut. DH said I shouldn't cut again. I just might!

Just a suggestion for anyone who wants to attempt a do-it-yourself haircut: youtube.
Several years ago, l got tired of going to the salon for haircuts. I always trimmed my bangs myself between haircuts anyway, so l figured why not try for the whole thing. I went to youtube, and looked for "long, layered cut." I followed the directions in the video. Worst case scenario: l'd have to go to the salon for a correction if l messed up.
It came out fine, and I've been doing my own haircuts ever since. I've also been doing my own coloring-- for decades. It's nice to not have to depend on salons, especially now!

Several months ago I received the worst cut I've ever had and that includes a cut in my 40's where they SHAVED up the back of my head about 2-3".... ! That grew out and I became far more explicit in how I described what I wanted. This one was done by someone bragging about her ability to cut what she called an "A-line".... she said she is called "The Queen of A-lines". Well my cut was choppy and uneven and I've been letting the mess grow out since January!! I'm really ready right now. Really ready!
