I bought it for recipes since I live a high protein, low carb lifestyle. I never watch the food shows so I would never have seen it if I'd been paying attention to what was on tv.

I think she's just saying she wouldn't have seen the calendar if she relied on watching QVC food shows.  It's not a complaint at all.

        I was saying that....   I would never have seen the calendar because I don't watch food shows.  Ever.  But when I turned the TV on, there was David talking about low carbs and that caught my attention.
