@ECBG   I love SAM's, too. I do purchase less since large quanities for just 2 of us. It keeps my freezer and pantry too full. They are great for laundry detergent, paper goods, wine (?!?!), etc.

I get stew beef there; their steaks are pretty, but lack flavor. and of course toilet paper!

Apparently, Tuesday is the day!  YEAH!!!  Not really busy.

Which steaks do you buy there?  Whenever I entertain and make steaks I buy their prime filets, I buy them because I bbq them and they are always tender but I think your right they do lack some flavor, I go with them because they are "safe".

I don't buy their steaks; with beef, only stew meat.  I don't think their beef is aged.  I have found steaks have no flavor.

I designed this house with a 10x12ft pantry for big pots and pans and canned goods.

@ECBG   I have a huge pantry, too and drawers that pull out under my ovens and stove top for pots, etc. I just can't find things when I have too many cans/boxes.

At one time Sam's had a one day menbership. They no longer do,so we shop at Costco.

Which, their Kirkland brand of Microcorn is the best I have ever had.

Re: I Went To Sams Today......

I know where all the shoppers were yesterday. They were in my local grocery store. I ran over at lunch time yesterday (Tuesday) to get a few things and my store was packed. I could hardly push my buggy down the isles. Even the cashier was talking about how crowded it was for a Tuesday.

I have learned something about Sams recently. It’s the Scan and Go on the Sams app. You have to down load the Sams app on your phone and hook up a credit card to it but it’s the best thing. I take a few bags with me and when I find something I want to buy I scan the barcode with my phone then I put it in a bag. When I am done with shopping you click check out, it charges your card and you are on your way.

You don’t have to take everything out of your buggy at the check-out register. You show your phone to the person at the exit door, they peek at your bags, scan a few things and you are out the door!!

Honestly, it’s the best thing. Y’all may already know this but its new to me so I wanted to share.

I have a membership to Sam’s and Costco and I am single🤣 I love the Sam’s bakery and it is miles ahead of Costco. I never buy meat at Costco but I buy a lot at Sam’s and the only thing I haven't been crazy about it the chuck roast. All three I bought a while ago were dry and stringy. I prefer the Sam’s toilet paper over Costco.

I learned the hard way to never buy meat at Costco. We had been a member at Sam's for years. Then they built a Costco 5 miles from my house. We had always been pleased with Sam's meat. So expected Costco to be the same. Oh My. I mentioned before we bought filet mignon at Costco. It was so tough. I am cutting up the rest and using it for stew. I had not been impressed with Costco meat previously but so disappointed with the filets.

So from now on, only Sam's meat. Have never been disappointed.

My Costco is almost like a racetrack. Many people in the motorized scooters. And they know how to use them. You better get out of their way. They are racing down the aisles or parked in front of displays and you can't get to an item, even when you say "excuse me".

Trying to buy as much as I can this week. So next week I won't have to go out grocery shopping if i can help it.

I was just wondering which steaks you had that experience with? I have found the prime new yorks to be very good.

Re: I Went To Sams Today......

I always go to Sam's during their early morning plus members hours.
I wish Costco would have early hours for executive memberships.
