@Shanus

I just want to know who coined the term, "Social Distancing?" I've hated that since the first time I heard it!  Wouldn't it just be so much easier and to the point to say, "STAY HOME!"

"this too shall pass" was one of my fathers favorite sayings. when he passed in 2003 I got it tattooed on the inside of my left ankle. it is a far truer statement than "we're in this together". I dont feel "together" with anyone right now. therefore I'm all in for beach, umbrella drinks & cabana boys!!! how 'bout a little salsa dancing?!

But stay home is very different than social distancing, @AnikaBrodie. I really can't think of a better way to tell people to stay far apart when out.

@Imaoldhippie   That goes without saying, but don't you think we'll need several?

@spursfan2   I'll need to have my first drink and then I'll meet you on the dance floor.

Re: I AM PACKED AND READY

Social Distancing has a negative connotation that I fear may stay with us long after this is over. You can social distance yourself from groups of people, ex-friends/family, church/synagogue, significant others, etc. Stay Home may be more straightforward.
