@Gayle2    Message to Steve:  Never Give Up!  As a former cancer patient I know treatments can be difficult at times but there is always hope.  Steve and you will be in my prayers as will your friend and her husband.  Cancer is a difficult diagnosis to deal with and he may need more time to accept his diagnosis and seek subsequent treatment.

Lots of prayers going up for Steve’s healing and your strength as you support him, @Gayle2. 

 

Sending them up for your friend and her hubby, too. I really hope for both their sakes that he will come around to accepting his diagnosis and proper treatment.

@Gayle2, sending best wishes to you and DH as you go down this road.

 

Sadly, your friend has a big struggle ahead with her DH in denial.  It is a good reminder to us not to hastily judge our friends.  Her situation is similar to yours and, in some ways, worse.  LM
