roared though our area and we lost power early Thursday morning.  We just got our power back on at approx 11 am today, Sat.  We toughed it out Thursday through Friday evening then went to a motel, getting home this monring just a few minutes after power was restored.  A power pole with a transformer on it was broken in half on our road which caused the outage.  There were lots and lots of trees and poles down surrounding our small town and community.

No damage to our property or house.  We were blessed.

God bless eletrical linemen!

Glad you were safe and able to come home to no damage done. Has been a nasty hurricane season for the south east this year. There's no place like home.
