Please don't kill the bee. Their population has declined, and we need every bee possible. Just let land on a piece of paper, put a glass over it and take it outside. That's what I have done when a new has flown into my house, and I've never been stung doing it.

It doesn't have to be killed. It can be removed safely.

Re: Huge Black Flying "Something"

Bats are very beneficial, they eat tons of mosquitoes.  I catch and release everything that happens into my house (except ants).  I like spiders and enjoy saving them.

I hope you find out what it is.  Hopefully it made its way out again.

Re: Huge Black Flying "Something"

I recall a time, probably mid-80s, one evening I was with a couple of friends hanging out in the front yard of the little place I was renting and all of a sudden we saw what had to be THOUSANDS of bats flying around in one spot.  It was so cool!  We just kept watching them until they were done.

That's the only time I ever saw that.

@seaswirl   Whatever happened about this?  Did you find the black flying something and remove it?

This morning when I woke up, I was glancing around my room and caught a sight of a huge flying SOMETHING frantically flying around my room.  It was black and about 4-5" in size.   When I left for work, I set up my Wyze cam, but so far I've not seen it again.  Any ideas what it could be?

@seaswirl @Could you please let us know what happened.
