Hi Everybody!!
How's it going? the shopping? Are you getting your list done? Anyone find a perfect gift or have total mind block on what to get?
I am doing pretty good. I am mostly decorated. I ordered a lot of my gifts on line so wrapping will be later. I need to plan my baking days, anything I need to send and something to take into the office.
So all in all... I feel good. I am ahead at this point. LOL

Still deciding on what to buy for a few people, waiting for a few gifts to arrive, haven't wrapped anything yet, house has been decorated since Thanksgiving week. I should start meal planning, but it's still only 12/3 so I do have some time. I'm about on track for this time of year. I try to really enjoy the season and not stress about it ![]()

Shopping is all done except for a few gift cards. Fireplace mantle is decorated as is the front door wreath and the two pine urns on each side and in front of the side panes of glass. They all are fresh mixed pine with berries and I strung white lights on them all.
The Christmas tree is not up yet, but I have hopes for it today. I have two kitties, one that has no interest in the tree other than maybe sleeping on the tree skirt, but the other one (a male Tuxedo) is forever getting in trouble. I will leave the tree up for a few days with no decorations and see how that works out. If all is good, I'll attempt to decorate it.
The only other thing that needs to be done is the battery operated candles in each of my windows. I'm waiting for a BIG pack of D-cell batteries from Amazon to arrive early next week. Then, the decorating should be done and on to the next task.... baking.

I think it's great that everyone is well on their way! I am always one who likes to get things done ahead of time. I thoroughly enjoy the Christmas season and have zero stress about it. Though I have stated on here before that I have no little ones to buy for and my gift list is not very long, so that makes it a bit easier for me. All my decorations are done including the tree (finished last Wednesday), mailed my Christmas cards yesterday, all my shopping has been done for weeks. Now all I need to do is wrap the gifts and it's......
feet up, glass of wine in hand and Christmas music playing in the background!
I do Christmas dinner here but again, I don't have too many so it's enjoyable ![]()
Carry on ladies!

Tree has been up for 2 weeks. Don't decorate outside. Only one gift card to buy and that's done. We stopped buying gifts for each other years ago. A few cards to mail. As for food. The Costco tri tip is in the freezer and the rest has been bought. We don't go crazy on Christmas, we just keep things simple.

I'm 90% decorated. Just found 2 things I bought during CIJ. I do indeed have a gift closet and I stash things away all year. I took several presents from my stash. I have 2 or 3 to go. I'll shop Amazon tomorrow. I don't wrap anymore. I use those mylar gift bags. We are doing Christmas Eve at my house so I'm beginning to think about the menu. I will ask my guests to bring the desserts. Christmas Day is at my daughter's I'll probably bake cookies.

Since I fell off the ladder putting up holiday decos and broke a rib-it is going slowly.

Oh no!! I hope you are ok. That sounds pretty painful Take care. Maybe get Santa's elves to do the rest. Or better yet say. "fa-la-la-la Forget it!"
