How our Goodwills are working.

You set up an appointment online. You are emailed tickets. Only 1 hour,no one under 16.

It works so well.

I don't know how they are working here, but the one I pass on the way to the grocery store is slammed!

Wow! That is restrictive.

We have a thrift store like Goodwill, Volunteers of America, that never closed down here in Ohio. Goodwill just reopened and they have a list of the usual dos and don'ts but just show up and shop. Limited number of people in the store at once, but never a line outside waiting either.

I donated clothes to Goodwill on Saturday. No reservations needed, just went in the store and put my donations in the large bin. Same as always.

Other customers just walked right in too. No one at the entrance counting the number of customers.I also saw young children entering with their parents.

Re: How our Goodwills are working.

I tried to donate to our Salvation Army store today and they are not taking donations as TOO much stuff. This happens from time to time in the Spring and Fall when people are cleaning out closets and garages.  I imagine being in Stay at Home there was  time to sort.

There are other Thrift Stores that reopened  recently with shorter hours ,but this one is a mile from where I live. I sort out the stained, pilled clothing or out of date. Some people donate dumpster destined stuff.

I haven't been inside but looks business as usual. With the clothing prices they will probably be popular stores. I am thankful people can make use of second hand items. I try to donate only resale items.
