@SandySparkles oh my....never a boom box on my shoulder but I did use one. One of my colleagues and I were talking about maps the other day. I know I can still read on but thank goodness for google maps! My traveling best friend!!

I haven't done 2,8,9,10,11,14,17,or 20.

I have watched movies on a VHS but never prayed they wouldn't jam because they never did?

The first VHS we got was when my bil gave us his old player.

and he gave us "The LIttle Mermaid!" My 3 children and I watched that over and over. We were enthralled and thought we had never seen something so wonderful!

and re maps-my sister loved them. I thought it was like trying to read something through a mirror.

@SandySparkles I always love your posts ! I've never done #6, 8, 9, 12 or 18. Never rocked a walkman like a rebel ! and what the heck is owning a dusty dictionary? are they actually talking about a dictionary being dusty from it just sitting on a shelf for a time and gathering dust ? I had a transistor radio not a Walkman.

I had a boombox but never carried on my shoulder.

Oh you know, now that I read that again, I had several dictionaries but none were dusty because I used them a lot! My mother loved dictionaries and everytime we wanted to know how to spell a word, she would tell us to "look it up in the dictionary." She had a Websters, and a huge Randall's House dictionary on a very nice waist high wooden stand in a place of honor in the living room, and every place she lived!

Funny - I homeschool my grandson. I still have my mother-in-laws dusty dictionary (lol). Well my grandson had to find definitions and I told him he could look up on line, or, look it up in the dictionary.

I had to show him how it worked. Well he thought the dictionary was cool! He always looks words up there now.
